Chiropodists (pronounced : ‘ker-ro-po-dist’) and Podiatrists are the only recognized and regulated primary health care provider, foot specialists, in Ontario who provides a variety of medical services ranging from skin and nail care to orthotics and in-office surgeries. Chiropody is a field of medicine that focuses on assessing, preventing and treating conditions associated with the foot and ankle by medical, surgical or palliative care. They complete seven years of post-secondary education before starting their professional careers.

Mr. Michael Bruno B.A. (Hons.)

Michael Bruno is a registered Chiropodist with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario. He began his journey by studying Kinesiology at York University and graduating with honours from his program. He then furthered his education and studied Chiropody at the Michener Institute of Education in Toronto. Throughout his program, he gained valuable knowledge and experience from multiple different clinics including Orangeville Foot Clinic, Dufferin Area Family Health Team, and Toronto Foot Care.

Michael is an eager and compassionate individual who is always ready to provide his patients with the highest quality of care. He has experience in managing a wide range of conditions, including routine and diabetic foot care, callus and corn care, fungal infections, warts, wound management, foot pain and injuries, custom orthotics, and minor surgical procedures such as ingrown toenail procedures.

Outside of work, Michael is a very big hockey fan and loves weightlifting at the gym. When he is not watching hockey or going to the gym, you will find him spending time with his friends and family.
